Producer. Engineer. Eater of Cheeses.
Sooo......I guess this is where I'm supposed to talk aboot myself, eh? Well, the long and the short of it is I do audio things. Sometimes I do audio things at the Pancake Factory, other times I do audio out on location for film and media. Basically, I produce music, compose scores, dub ADR, record audio out in the field for film, ENG and docs. All the things.

I started out as a post-guy, though. I was lucky enough to intern as an Engineer Assistant for Post Audio big-wigs Mike Wilhoit and Scott Wolf at Soundelux in Hollywood, CA (which is where I'm from, btw...).

Upon graduating college, I wanted to put off the real world for a little while, so I enrolled in the Masters in Music Technology program at NYU. After that, I wanted to put off the real world for a little while more, so I opened up a recording studio in the rough and tumble neighborhood of Park Slope Brooklyn. Farm-to-Table Ethiopian restaurants. Bars with bocce ball and stroller parking on Sundays. Real gritty stuff. The Pancake Factory and I have been in the thick of this since 2007.

My career is actually a pretty even split between music production and location audio recording for film.

My first love is music. I've been playing guitar for close to 20 years (good god!), piano for 10 years, drums for 5 years, and recorder for half a year back in the 3rd grade. I've been writing music since I was 15, and have been touring with bands since I was 18. To this day, I am still in a couple of bands...mostly because it makes me seem interesting. At the Pancake Factory, I put my love and working knowledge of music to use by producing and recording other bands. I have been fortunate enough to record some really awesome musicians at the Pancake Factory:  Listen HERE.

As much as I love the music part of my career, I also love the film part as well. There is something about film that has always fascinated me. My time at Soundelux gave me an intimate knowledge of what good production audio actually is, so every time I'm on set, I try to capture the best dialogue and soundscape possible, no matter the surrounding conditions or X-factors that production throws at me. You can check out my body of work HERE.

I have worked on all sorts of projects: Documentaries. Feature Films. Reality TV. Scripted TV. Webseries. Commercials. Corporate. ENG. You name it, I've done it.
